Who we are
Seattle Water Damage Pros is a service of Help Me Now Inc ("we," "us"), a Washington company. We operate a dispatch and coordination service that connects homeowners and property managers with independent, Washington-registered restoration contractors. We do not perform restoration work and we are not a party to the contract between you and the contractor.
The contractor relationship
Restoration services are provided by an independent contractor under a separate written agreement between you and that contractor. The contractor is responsible for its work, its estimates, its licensing, bonding and insurance, and its billing. We provide the contractor's name and Washington L&I registration number before work begins; you are responsible for reviewing it and for reading any authorization you sign. You are free to decline the routed contractor and choose another.
No insurance or legal advice
Information on this site about insurance coverage, claims and deductibles is general information based on how standard policies commonly work. It is not legal or insurance advice, and coverage decisions are made solely by your insurer under the terms of your policy. Your deductible applies to your claim as your policy requires; we do not and cannot waive, rebate or pay any part of it, and we do not work with contractors who offer to.
Response times
Response windows are estimates based on crew location, traffic and weather and are not guarantees. Emergency conditions affecting the region may extend them.
Fees
Homeowners do not pay Help Me Now Inc for the dispatch service. Our fees are paid by participating contractors and are not added to your invoice or billed to your insurer as a separate item.
Acceptable use
You agree not to submit false requests, to misuse the site, or to interfere with its operation.
Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The site and dispatch service are provided as is. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Help Me Now Inc disclaims warranties of any kind and is not liable for the acts or omissions of any independent contractor or for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from use of the site or service. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under Washington consumer protection law that cannot be waived.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington. Venue for any dispute is King County, Washington.
